i-mate, one of the most popular smartphone brand in the world and NZ, has revealed a few new QWERTY packed family members - including the i-mate Ultimate 8502.
The candybar-shaped Ultimate 8502 uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional system and includes WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0, 256MB ROM, 128MB ROM, 2.0 Megapixel fixed focus camera with LED light, MicroSD card slot, 2.6" QVGA Touch-Screen. We want to see more and more smartphones to have integrated GPS, the i-mate Ultimate 8502 doesn't disappoint us. Not only GPS, it also has a direct video output for projectors & displays. Of course, it's a 3G phone and works on HSDPA and HSUPA.

what do you think OKTA? the new touch phone from telecom? any good?
It's the re-branded product of HTC Touch which has been carrying different brands around the world. It's also using Windows Mobile 6 and has a touch interface, so not bad. But as it's using Telecom's CDMA network in NZ (Telecom is going to replace the CDMA sometime soon), I won't consider it myself.
